Dana Arnett

Dana is a principal of VSA Partners, leading a team in the creation of design programs, film projects, interactive initiatives and brand communications solutions for a diverse roster of clients. His clients have included Caterpillar, Harley-Davidson, Bell Canada, IBM, Handspring, Chronicle Books and Time Warner.

Over the course of more than two decades in the field, Dana has been recognized globally by more than 60 competitions and designations, including: Communication Arts, AIGA, Graphis, The Type Directors Club, The American And British Art Director Clubs, ID, The LA Film Festival, the AR100 and The American Marketing Association. Dana was a 1999 inductee into the Alliance Graphic International, and holds the honor of being named to the ID40, which has cited him as one of the 40 most important people shaping design internationally. He is currently a board member of the American Institute for Graphic Arts.

A frequent lecturer and visiting professor, Dana is also active in helping to shape the role of design in society through his contribution to publishing endeavors, conference chairmanships and foundation activities

 
 

James Koval

Jamie joined as principal and creative director with VSA Partners in 1990 and has been successful in leading clients both large and small to their business objectives through brand communications and creative solutions. His clients have included Adidas, BP, Baker, Cingular, Gap, The Coca-Cola Company and Mohawk Fine Papers.

Jamie has lectured and served as a visiting professor at multiple design schools. He has contributed to creative workshops for brands such as Starbucks, Leo Burnett and Einstein Bros. Bagels, and has designed a stamp for the U.S. Postal Service. In addition, he donated his time to several not-for-profit organizations, such as Anderson Ranch Art Center, Dance Aspen, the Northern Suburban Special Education District and serves on the board of the Chicago Art Foundation.

Jamie’s work has been recognized by ACD100, the AIGA, American Corporate Identity, AR100, British Design Annual, Communication Arts, Graphis (identity, posters, and packaging), International Logos and Trademarks, the Los Angeles Art Director’s Club, Mead Annual Report Show, the New York Art Director’s Club, Print Magazine, and Type Directors Club. In addition, his work is in the permanent collection in the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.

 
 
 
 

Curt Schreiber

Curt is a principal and creative director with VSA Partners. He joined VSA in 1991 and is best known for his work for such clients as IBM, Harley-Davidson, General Motors, SRAM and Chicago Board of Trade.

Within VSA, Curt is responsible for design development, creative direction and team-building for the office’s diverse range of design programs. Most recently, he has been highly involved in the creative direction for major brand identity programs and development of the firm’s growing portfolio of Internet and Web site design programs.

Curt’s work has been recognized by most major design publications including New York Art Directors Club, AR 100 (Best of Show 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996) Mead Annual Report Show, Graphis International Annual Reports 3 (Best of Show 1991 and 1992), Communication Arts, Print Magazine, HOW Magazine, Los Angeles Art Directors Club (Best of Show 1992, 1993), AIGA, and ACD 100.

 
 

Jeff Walker

Jeff is a principal and creative director with VSA Partners. Since joining VSA in 1995, he has led strategic design initiatives including annual reports, advertising, package design, collateral, dimensional environment, and naming and identity development in both consumer and business-to-business engagements.

Jeff participates in the business development of VSA, assists in resource management, and leads design teams on specific brand communication programs. He leads VSA’s collaboration with General Electric, and has worked with IBM, Cingular Wireless, Harley-Davidson, Time Warner, Goldman Sachs, The Coca-Cola Company, SRAM Bicycle Components and Wilson Golf.

 
 

Kerry Burda

Kerry Burda joined VSA Partners in May 2001 as a principal and chief financial officer. Since joining VSA, she has played a significant role in establishing VSA’s strategic direction. This includes overseeing VSA’s operational and financial growth as well as ensuring that VSA internal programs continue to support the highest level of professional development for employees.

Prior to joining VSA, Kerry spent over 11 years as a financial advisor to privately owned businesses. Her previous experience centered on assisting companies operating within the service industry in the financing and development of long-term growth strategies.
