Consistently curious and adapting, Thom has led work across the ever-expanding facets of design, ranging from advertising, branding and packaging to digital, motion and environment. His thoughtful leadership and client partnerships yield outcomes that are transformative and unexpected, while still remaining true to the essence of a brand’s soul. Thom has helped develop strategic design solutions for a wide range of clients, including Cargill, GE, IBM, D’Addario, Marvin and more. Prior to VSA, in 1999, Thom was co-founder of music-packaging design firm Kerosene Halo, where he contributed to the Grammy Award–winning campaigns for Madonna’s “Ray of Light” and the Smashing Pumpkins’ Grammy-nominated “Machina/The Machines of God.”
