A little bit about the VSA Summer AtHometernship Program: If you’re looking for another bullet point on your resume, look elsewhere. At VSA, like much of what we do, we take our internship program seriously. This means our interns work on “real work,” with real meetings, deadlines, and business challenges from our brands and clients. This is the education you won’t get in a classroom. Consider it career practice, with the freedom to learn, make mistakes, refine, question and tag along. You’ll work with an individual manager and a group of mentors in an outstanding cross-disciplinary environment focused on brand, communications, marketing, and digital. As part of the larger program, you’ll take part in intern meetings, team outings, activities, and initiatives (can you say networking?). And yes, it’s paid, with an hourly rate, for 40 hours/week, on-site. It starts June 7th. Bet you can’t wait for summer.

The Project Management Intern is responsible for assisting in the coordination of multiple projects at a time within a given brand or client, potentially across multiple brands, clients, or a singular, complex project and ensuring projects meet or exceed internal team and client expectations on-time and on-budget.

  • Reviewing all Client SOWs for financial accuracy and grammar/spelling.
  • Working with Client Engagement and Project Managers to produce accurate financial reporting
  • Documenting the project team’s approach, deliverables, schedule and tools to deliver the project within established constraints
  • Helping coordinate client signoff documents at key points during project
  • Working with hiring manager to oversee new hire/new resource onboarding requirements
  • Setting up project meetings and documents all activities of the project team such as: schedules, meeting notes, agendas, etc.
  • Helping coordinate and maintain project documentation including status reports, invoices, change orders, project schedules, budgets, and post mortem reviews
  • Collaborating on the content and presentation of key client deliverables as required to ensure relevancy, strategy, quality and timeliness
  • Working primarily internally to support other project managers
  • Following standard policies and procedures; recommends improvements as appropriate


  • Recent graduate from an accredited school
  • Must be able to handle multiple, diverse tasks simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong team player; ability to assist with facilitating teams and clients
  • Ability to identify problems and recommend potential solutions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar project management tool and MS Office skills
